Sometimes life takes an unexpected turn. A job loss, illness, or sudden expense can create challenges that feel overwhelming. In those moments, reaching out for help is not only okay, it’s an important step forward. At Mission Granbury, we are here to walk alongside our neighbors during difficult times with compassion, dignity, and support.
Mission Granbury’s Emergency Assistance Network (EAN), in collaboration with community partners, provides financial assistance to eligible Hood County residents facing hardship or crisis. Assistance may include help with rent, utilities, clothing, prescriptions, auto repair, and other urgent needs.
Because our goal is to move individuals and families from crisis to stability, EAN services are designed to provide short-term support while helping clients take steps toward long-term self-sufficiency. All assistance is based on eligibility requirements, including income guidelines.
How to Apply for Assistance
Call our Resource Center at 817-579-6866 and ask to speak with a case manager
To be considered for assistance, applicants must provide the following:

A valid photo ID

Proof of Hood County residency

Verification of income for all household members (copies of pay stubs, benefit letters, etc.)

A copy of the bill for which assistance is being requested

Utility bills must be in the name of the person applying for assistance
