SENIOR CARE

Many seniors in Hood County have spent a lifetime caring for others, building families, serving their communities, and contributing to the world around them. Yet as they age, some find themselves facing challenges they never expected, such as limited mobility, declining health, social isolation, food insecurity, or difficulty accessing essential services.

HELPING SENIORS REMAIN INDEPENDENT, CONNECTED AND THRIVING
Pride, independence, or a lack of support can prevent seniors from asking for help, even when they need it most.
Mission Granbury's Senior Care Program was created to ensure
that no senior has to navigate those challenges alone.
MORE THAN DELIVERY - FROM GROCERIES TO ADVOCACY
What began as a small grocery delivery initiative serving a handful of homebound seniors has grown into a comprehensive program designed to connect older adults with the resources, support, and personal advocacy they need to maintain their independence and quality of life. Today, the program serves over sixty seniors throughout Hood County who rely on these services to remain healthy, safe, and connected.
Through grocery delivery, supportive case management, resource navigation, and one-on-one advocacy, we help seniors overcome barriers that make everyday life more difficult. Whether that means connecting someone with food assistance, helping them access prescription resources, identifying community services, or simply ensuring they have someone to call when they need help, our goal is to build a network of support around each individual.

Most importantly, we believe every senior deserves to be seen, valued, and treated with dignity. By building meaningful relationships and helping seniors access the resources available to them, we work to reduce isolation, strengthen independence, and help our senior neighbors thrive.
