Every item donated to the Mission Granbury Resale Shoppe helps support the programs and services of Mission Granbury. We are truly grateful to everyone who chooses to give, and we want to make the very best use of every donation we receive.
Donation Hours
Wednesday–Saturday | 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Because our receiving and storage space is limited, we can accept up to three bags of clothing per donation visit. We appreciate your understanding and your help in keeping our donation area manageable and safe.
What We’re Able to Accept
We’re happy to receive new and gently used clothing, household goods, furniture and other items that are clean, safe, in working condition and ready for a new home. Occasionally, we have to decline an item, not because we don’t appreciate the generosity behind it, but because we may not have the space to store it, it may not meet current safety requirements, or the cost of transporting, repairing or disposing of it may be greater than what we can recover through its sale.
Our donation attendants are familiar with what the Shoppe can accept and are always happy to help. When possible, they may also be able to suggest other options for items we’re unable to use.
A Few Things We’re Unable to Accept
To help you plan your donation, we are generally unable to accept:

Items that are wet, heavily soiled, stained, torn, broken or in need of repair; used undergarments or socks; heavily worn shoes; used bed pillows; mattresses, box springs and waterbed mattresses or frames.

Furniture with broken parts, significant stains or tears, excessive wear, pet hair or pet damage.

Opened personal-care products; household chemicals, paint, pesticides, aerosols, automotive fluids, tires, batteries or other hazardous materials.

Tube televisions, CRT computer monitors or printers; nonworking appliances; or Freon-based appliances needing repair or refill.

Medical equipment such as wheelchairs, shower chairs or breathing equipment.

Traditional recyclables such as glass, newspapers, office paper, cardboard, plastics, magazines or junk mail.

Weapons, ammunition, bows and arrows, or hunting knives.

Cribs, car seats, walkers, recalled products, or other children's items that do not meet current U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission standards.
